Dauntless Am Staffs - home to BIS Ch Dauntless Hyperion of Intrepid (Dante - bred by Linda Cooper), his son Multiple BIS, BISS CH Dauntless Hyperion's Diamond (Perry), and grandkids BISS Ch Dauntless Diamonds Are Forever CDX OA AXJ NJP RN (Bond), Ch Dauntless King's Ransom CD RN (Henri) and Ch Dauntless Diamond Lil CDX AX AXJ RA. My breeding philosophy has been shaped by a love for the breed which I view as a highly intelligent, exuberant, working terrier. The Dauntless line stems from a cross between old Ruffian and Xpert bloodlines. I value temperament and brains, well-defined (but not excessive) musculature and athleticism, and work at breeding my dogs to standard size. Ch Dauntless King's Ransom
"Henri" is a consummate working dog. He finished his championship early and needed a real job. When I put a training collar on him and tried him out in obedience, I was delighted at his natural ability. Henri and I spend many hours in my training building, playing and working - it's all the same to him. He needs one more leg for his CDX and then on to utility. Handsome and smart - my favorite kind of guy!

Mutliple BIS, BISS Dauntless Hyperion's Diamond
"Perry" was the top winning Am Staff of all time, with 13 all breed best in shows, 6 specialty best in shows and 135 Group Firsts. Sadly, Perry died in August, 2003 during a routine anesthetic for a root canal - the cause of death was not determined on necropsy. Perry was one of the most gentle dogs I have ever known. I still miss him every day. Perry was co-bred by Linda Cooper - his legacy is carried on by his pups and grandpups. He was a once in a lifetime dog. I have frozen semen stored on Perry. Ch Dauntless Diamonds Are Forever CDX AXJ OA RN
"Bond" is another handsome and smart superdog - equally happy in the agility ring, the obedience ring, or on the couch cuddled up with his sister and grandmother. "Bond" is getting ready for the Utility ring while having fun in agility. He was a multiple group and Best in Specialty in his previous life, but I'm pretty sure he's happier now!

Ch Dauntless Diamond Lil CDX AX AXJ RA
"Lil" has whelped numerous champions between winning obedience and agility titles. While not the most enthusiastic working dog, Lil does come through for me. I have promised her a permanent couch spot when she finishes utility. She had her last litter in 2007 - I am looking forward to showing the puppy I kept from that litter, Blizzie. But more about her on pp 9 and 10 when she starts showing in agility and obedience.
