Dauntless Am Staffs is home to BIS CH Dauntless Hyperion of Intrepid (Dante)and his son BIS CH Dauntless Hyperion's Diamond (Perry). Our breeding philosophy has been shaped by our love for the breed which we view as a highly intelligent, exuberant, working terrier. Our line stems from a cross between old Ruffian and Xpert bloodlines. We value temperament and brains, well-defined (but not excessive) musculature and athleticism, and work at breeding our dogs to standard size. If you are looking for a Staff that will make you laugh, keep up with you no matter what, and provide a challenging training opportunity, a Dauntless dog may be for you!

BIS CH Dauntless Hyperion of Intrepid
OFA, CERF, 19 inches and 65 pounds. Dante has a marvelous comic personality. He is known as the "jewel thief" on the show circuit because of his ability to gently nibble earrings off unsuspecting admirers. He is a truly great show dog as demonstrated by his 26 group firsts (10/97), more than 100 other group placements and a rare all breed BIS. To know Dante is to love him. Dante retired at the end of August and is enjoying life at home with the Dauntless "girls".

BIS CH Dauntless Hyperion's Diamond
19 in, 65 pounds - Dante's son "Perry" is the new Dauntless special - and special is the right word! He finished from puppy class and took a group third the next day - owner handled. He is now teamed with Ted Browning and in less than two months he has five group firsts and over twenty other placements. November has been a good month - Perry took an all breed BEST IN SHOW the first weekend in Gulfport, MS and then went on to win an AWARD OF MERIT at the National Specialty - all before his second birthday!!! "Perry" is a real charmer. His delightful temperament and gorgeous conformation make him hard to beat. Look for him next year - we hope for great things from this standard-sized boy.

CH Dauntless Barkley Indy Zimmer
"Barx" (OFA good) is a Titi-Indy son who finished this summer with four majors out of the bred-by class. His natural ears and supreme athleticism make this dog a stand-out. Look for him in the obedience and agility rings with Peter.

CH Dauntless Intrepid Stormwatch
"Stormy" (OFA good) is a delightful even-tempered bitch who has returned to the ring as a junior’s dog, a role she loves. A 1997 breeding with Dante produced a gorgeous litter which included CH Dauntless Hyperion's Diamond (Perry) who finished from puppy class and has already taken multiple group placements. Look for the puppies she produced with Dante this year - a match made in dog heaven!
